Maitencillo School

This educational establishment has been linked to the Maitencillo TURF-Reserve in environmental education activities organized by the Maitencillo Fishers’ Union, including the inauguration and first anniversary celebrations of this voluntary protected area. In these instances, this school’s students, both boys and girls, have been able to learn about the biodiversity of the area through guided tours of the cove and the Intertidal Trail, after which they put the learnings on paper with colorful drawings.
