In an act of collaboration with a view to restoring the balance of the marine ecosystem, Capital Azul Foundation and the Independent Artisanal Fishers Los Pingüinos Caleta Las Cujas Cachagua Union, have established a non-extractive zone, which covers approximately ten hectares within the TURF. This involves the preservation of key species such as Chilean abalone, red sea urkins and limpets, as well as a variety of litoral fishes.
