The lack of regulations governing the conservation of marine ecosystems in Chile’s Territorial Sea has prompted Capital Azul Foundation to promote the creation of TURF-Reserves. Thanks to the work done in alliance with artisanal fishers, the institution already has five TURF-Reserves that allow the ecosystemic recovery of marine species.
