Bosques de Zapallar Corporation

Established in 2008, the main objective of this organization is to preserve 2,500 hectares of relict forest in the town of Zapallar, a Mediterranean coastal forest that is seriously threatened by real estate pressures. Thus, in 2010, El Boldo Park was born: 65 hectares destined to the conservation of this ecosystem’s biodiversity, which is open to the community for regulated and careful public use.

The Bosques de Zapallar Corporation has been working with Capital Azul Foundation and the TURF-Reserve program in diverse instances, including the Viento Norte Festival, which in its 2023 version highlighted the close connection between the sea and the forests.
