The Ventanas TURF-Reserve is located within the Territorial User Rights for Fisheries (TURF or AMERB, as abbreviated in Spanish) called Ventanas (Punta Lunes), with 82.8 hectares of surface. The TURF-Reserve is located, precisely, surrounding the sector known as Punta Lunes, covering 11.7 hectares of surface. It was in 2017 that the Collaboration Agreement was signed between the Ventanas Artisanal Fishers Union and Capital Azul Foundation, for the creation of the Ventanas TURF-Reserve.
